FAQs

The questions we get asked.

How do I know what size storage my facility needs?

We start with a load study — your consumption profile, tariff structure and peak demand. From there we size solar and battery together and model the payback before anyone commits. You get the numbers first, the hardware second.

Which battery chemistry do you use?

LFP (lithium iron phosphate) is our default for most C&I and grid work — it is safe, long-cycling and cost-effective. For long-duration, high-throughput grid roles we also evaluate vanadium redox flow (VRFB). The recommendation follows the project economics, not a preferred vendor.

What kind of payback period is typical?

It depends entirely on your tariff, demand charges and solar availability — which is exactly why we model it per site rather than quoting a generic figure. The savings come from peak shaving and Time-of-Day arbitrage; our feasibility model shows you the specific numbers for your facility.

Can storage work with my existing solar plant?

Yes. We retrofit storage onto existing solar as well as designing new hybrid solar+wind+BESS systems from scratch. Adding storage lets you self-consume more of your generation and shift it into high-value windows.

Do you handle tenders, DPRs and financial models?

Yes — feasibility, DPR, TEV-ready financial modelling and full bid support are core to what we do, backed by the project-finance discipline of our parent, Alpha Devraj Renewable Energy.

Air-cooled or liquid-cooled — what do you deploy?

Our standard containers are liquid-cooled, which gives tighter thermal control, higher energy density and longer cell life. Smaller C&I cabinets can be air or liquid cooled depending on duty cycle and site conditions.

What about warranty and long-term operation?

We provide long-term O&M, remote monitoring and performance management, with capacity augmentation planned into the design so the asset holds its rating over its life. Warranty terms are set per project and chemistry.
